With MapQuest Navigator iPhone application in the palm of your hand, you will never be lost again. MapQuest Navigator can give you directions from wherever you are accessing the application. With the GPS location feature, your location is recognized before you even begin your search, saving you time in finding your destination.
MapQuest Navigator has simple icons for quick access to restaurants, malls, parking, coffee, gas, hotels and more. The app will pull up all facilities in your area, leaving you with multiple locations to choose from. It also has an address search feature that will populate a map, listed driving directions, and vocal driving directions to your desired destination using the GPS element.
The turn-by-turn feature is handy, but with the $.99 purchase, you only have that option for 30 days; after your 30 days has come and gone, you lose that option unless you purchase one of the three subscription upgrades.
We loved the traffic feature as it gave updates using green, yellow, or red codes with one touch access you can plan your route before you get to the problem areas. This is great for commuters.
The stability of this app is as good as your GPS signal. Without your GPS signal, your personal locater will not work. You will still be able to find locations, but you will have a few extra steps to input your location to the app.
Support of MapQuest Navigator is found on iTunes and cannot be accessed through the app itself. We would like to see one touch access to support added to its user bar.
