Now, folks over at All Things Digital are reporting that the Cupertino, California-based Apple is fully aware regarding the issue and they’re currently “investigating” it.
“We are aware that a small number of iPad 2 customers have experienced connectivity issues with the Verizon 3G network and we are investigating it,” the company said in a statement to Mobilized. A Verizon representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”
So Apple might release a new version of iOS update, version 4.3.2, very soon to fix this issue. It is rumored that Apple is all set to release the iOS 4.3.2 by next week to fix some security / jailbreak vulnerability and bring some bugs fixes. In the meantime, while waiting for the fix, you can manually configure the iPad 2 connectivity using by following a simple instructions posted below:
Step 1: Turn the cellular data switch to on
Step 2: Power off the iPad
Step 3: Power up the iPad
Step 4: Turn on cellular data. Data switch is already on
Step 5: The Verizon service turns on and connects properly
